Synopsis:
This is a revised edition of a standard reference book for aerospace and mechanical engineers, covering the fundamentals of aircraft and missile dynamics, autopilot controls, guidance systems, integrated flight/fibre control systems, multivariate control systems and structural flexibility. It includes methods of robust control and new applications of root locus analysis that have been developed in recent years. It also covers new information about the guidance systems of the three major types of missiles and movement of their control surfaces.
