About the Author
Dr. LINCOLN STEIN, a scientist at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, writes Web–based software for the human genome project. An undisputed expert on CGI and Perl, he writes a regular column for the Perl Journal as well as the "Webmaster′s Domain" column for Web Techniques.
