I address issues about the track record of my newsletter.
I note that the customer reviews dated 2/4/98 and 3/16/98 are each quite positive about the book, but each refers in some manner to the "poor long-term track record" of The Option Advisor newsletter. The source of this "poor track record" - the calculations presented by the Hulbert Financial Digest - was specifically mentioned in one of these reviews. Suffice it to say that I have long standing disagreements with the methodology used by Hulbert to track the performance of my newsletter in particular and options portfolios in general. It should also be noted that The Option Advisor has been published since 1981 and is the largest circulation options newsletter in the nation, with many thousand of satisfied subscribers. I encourage investors to form their own judgements - about my book as well as about my newsletter.
