Spend Less and See More in Paris

If you d like to get most out of your dollars and your trip, this is the guide for you. I put a fresh spin on budget travel, showing you how to see the best for less and how to see it in a more authentic way the way the locals do.

Instead of spending $260.00 a night for a chain hotel, why not spend $260.00 total per week to rent a chic apartment in the trendy Marais neighborhood, or get to know some real Parisian by staying in a hosted apartment from $80.00 per night?

Or how about dinning where savvy locals do, such as Le Rendez-Vous du Marché, where for a mere $8 you can enjoy three courses. Then while away the afternoon shopping at an "overstock" store where--Paris top designers sell off their wares at prices far below retail.

Let me show you the "other" Paris the one only insiders know about. Attend a cooking class in English with a top chef, argue philosophy at a weekly café philos, jitterbug on the banks of the Seine at an impromptu dance fest, or attend a dinner party open to all. These are only a few of the great ways to get closer to the culture of Paris. Read on for more!
