Synopsis
The long hot summer of 1976. Adam Verne-Smith collects around him a group of young people at Wyvis Hall, a big old country house in Suffolk. With the carelessness of youth Adam, Rufus, Shiva, Vivien and Zosie hardly ask themselves or each other what they are doing as they scavenge, steal, pawn and sell the family heirlooms. Ten years later, the bodies of a woman and child are discovered in the bizarre animal cemetery by the owners of Wyvis Hall. Adam, Rufus and the others all have reasons to fear, as the events of 1967 unfold.
