About the Author

Whether sailing the Danube or the Rhine, exploring World War I trenches in France, or giving voice recitals in Budapest, Madrid, or Singapore, Frances Patton Statham has combined two careers and two loves— singing and writing novels. She graduated magna cum laude from Winthrop University with a double major in voice performance and music education, holds a master of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia, and an honorary doctorate from World University. Author of sixteen novels, Statham has won numerous awards in fiction, music composition and community service. She lives in metro-Atlanta, Georgia.
