Synopsis
Cordelia Grant is haunted by the image of a handsome stranger she sees in the forest at the time of the hunter s moon. The time when legend says a woman will see her future husband. Cordelia begins a new job as the schoolmistress at a girl s academy where she finds herself pursued by Jason Verringer, a dashing land baron with a scandalous reputation. Rumors persist that Jason murdered his wife and mistress, but he nonetheless fills Cordelia s thoughts and competes with her memory of the handsome stranger.
