From the Author

This book is about having fun drawing, not "how-to" stuff.
My students through 12 years of teaching this course at School of Visual Arts always asked me to "put it in writing" -- they improved without trying and had enormous fun doing it. The book maintains that premise and spirit with responsive drawings by many artists represented.
