Arginine Changed My Life! It Can Change Yours Too
In 1995, I was prescribed medication to lower my dangerously elevated blood pressure and pulse rate. But, about that time, I began to read in prestigious medical journals about the curious finding that the body makes the gas nitric oxide, mostly from the amino acid L-arginine, and that arginine-derived nitric oxide controls cardiovascular and heart function, and lowers bad (LDL) cholesterol.

I though to myself, why not try oral arginine supplementation, as many clinical studies suggested? Within a few weeks of taking a daily oral supplement of 2000 milligrams of L-arginine (four capsules per day), my blood pressure returned to normal and so did my pulse rate. I never finished the prescription. And, to top it off, I discovered an equally amazing increase in erectile strength.

The 1998 Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to three American scientists who detailed the role of nitric oxide in cardiovascular function, and Dr. Woodson C.
