Synopsis
Widely-respected leadership expert Larry Julian identifies five built-in roadblocks to success and shows that by partnering with God, they can be overcome.
Human beings are designed for success. Still, Larry Julian says there remain hidden obstacles that keep people from realizing their dreams. On their own, capable individuals take charge of what they should surrender to God, yet are strangely passive about things for which they should take responsibility. As a result, five obstacles sabotage their every effort:
1. Pain and adversity
2. Financial slavery
3. Lack of confidence
4. Distractions
5. Fear and worry
For each obstacle, Julian tells the story of someone who succeeded against the odds. Describing a "partnership with God," Julian shows how knowing when to adopt either a "take-charge posture" or a "surrender posture" will ultimately pave the way to true success.
