I wrote the book to enpowered & encourage other sojourners.
The book, The Mud People, IS my story of recovery from emotional, physical, sexual and mental abuse. I wrote my book as a story b/c it made it safe for me as the writer and safe for you as the reader. I wanted to reach out and touch others in pain and hopelessness to let you know that recovery can and does take place. I want to encourage you to NEVER, NEVER, QUIT! It does take hard work and dedication. You have a right to be here and to live a life of happiness, peace and contentment. YOU CAN GIVE THIS TO YOURSELF!! The nightmares and pain will one day fade into a distant memory. Recovery from any form of abuse or trama is a temporary set back not a permanent handicap.
