Professor Dr Artur Rydosz received his degrees in electronics engineering from the AGH University of Krakow, Poland. In 2019, he obtained a D.Sc. degree, and since 2023, he has been a full professor at the Institute of Electronics, AGH. His current research interests include gas sensors and organ-on-a-chip platforms. Prof. Rydosz is leading the Biomarkers Analysis LAB Group at AGH and working in the Functional and Virtual Medical 3D Imaging Laboratory in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the University Hospital in Kraków, Poland. In 2022, 2023, and 2025, his books, Diabetes Without Needles, Human Organ-On-a-chip, and Exhaled Breath Analysis (Elsevier) were published, respectively.
Professor Klaudia Proniewska-van Dam is the Director of the Center for Digital and Medical Robotics at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków, Poland, and the Head of the Functional and Virtual Medical 3D Imaging Laboratory in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the University Hospital in Kraków, Poland.
Her research interests include immersive technologies and functional imaging in cardiology. She is also involved in developing modern, digital methods for teaching medical skills to students. Additionally, she has completed international research fellowships, including Erasmus+ programs in Erasmus MC, Thorax Center in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and the Top 500 Innovators Program in Oxford and Cambridge, as well as a fellowship at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) in New York.
Professor Peter van Dam visiting professor in the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków, Poland. He is also a specialist in Functional and Virtual Medical 3D Imaging Laboratory in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the University Hospital in Kraków. His research focuses on non-invasive cardiac electrical Imaging (ECGI). In academia, he has worked at Radboud University (2011–2017, validating ECGI methods in an animal model), at UCLA (2013–2016, developing arrhythmia mapping methods), and currently conducts research and teaching at UMC Utrecht, UT Twente, and Hochschule Luzern Technik & Architektur.
