Nanostructured Thin Films: Fundamentals and Multifunctional Applications provides a comprehensive introduction to the theory and deposition techniques used in the preparation of thin films at nanoscale by chemical and physical routes. The structural, optical, spectroscopic, electric, morphological, elastic, mechanical and magnetic properties of nanostructured thin films are thoroughly reviewed, and their applications in the fields of clean energy, solar cell devices, nanosensors, biomedicine, and on-chip devices are discussed. This book is a valuable resource to researchers and R&D professionals interested in thin film materials and the factors influencing their chemical/physical properties and the relationship between these properties.
