It covers procedural steps and offers a perspective on the frequency of clinical problems and specific procedures, the order in which to perform them, and finally, a chapter on results to illustrate the relative success of the procedures. There are over 400 operative illustrations which display step-by-step the manoeuvres in each operation. All line drawings are by a single medical illustrator and there is careful description of each technique together with information on indications, preparations, procedures, problems and management.
