Seller: Saucony Book Shop, Kutztown, PA, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Complete in four (4) volumes, uniformly bound in white cloth-effect paper covered boards, lettered in black. All volumes present only slight handling wear, but all are compromised to a certain degree by dampstaining. Exterior is mostly cosmetic, with mild staining and/or minor paper residue limited to upper spine panels and upper cover areas adjacent to joints (binding corners). All text blocks show darkening at top binding corner, with mildew staining (not active) and/or paper adhesion issues at top corners of most plates, mostly confined to margins but not entirely in a few instances, also minor adhesion/tearing issues along binding gutter to a few plates, affecting Vols. 1 and 2 mildly, Vol. 3 moderately, Vol. 4 minimally, thus overall Good only. All plates are essentially intact, with a few showing slight surface loss at top left corner only, and thus this set is still quite useful as a reference or working copy -- or (shudder) for breaking and framing individual plates. Strand Book Store (NYC) price stickers mounted on front flyleaves of Vols. 2-4. Dust jackets show light shelf wear, Vols. 2-4 with price clipped front flaps, Vol. 3 with some wrinkling to portions of rear panel, all in mylar. 132 + 108 + 128 + 108 pp., reproducing a total of 220 full page color plates (60 each in Vols. 1 and 3, 50 each in Vols. 2 and 4). Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book. Seller Inventory # 029795
