Synopsis
"When You've Made It Your Own" is written in a light, conversational tone in the hope of demystifying poetry for the teacher so that it could be easily and pleasurably incorporated in the language arts curriculum.

About the Author
Gregory Denman is an educator, poet, speaker, writer, and master storyteller known for his stimulating presentations on language learning. In addition to his conference appearances, Greg visits many classrooms each year, learning from and working with students and teachers. He has been a primary and middle school teacher, author, and a university specialist in language arts methods and children's literature. Greg presents with an actor's flair for spoken language along with a seasoned teacher's astute understanding of students and the dynamics of classroom instruction. Teachers, librarians, and students of all ages have responded wholeheartedly to the magic he brings to language learning. His workshops are fast moving, inspiring, and highly applicable to the classroom.

It appears to have had little if any use. The cover has wear with bumps, scuffs and corner creasing. There is no creasing on the spine. The inscription reads: "To Donna - Best Wishes!
