Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. London. William Heinemann Ltd. 1984. First Printing. Hard Cover. Pale grey textured boards with white spine titles. Condition of book is fine. Jacket illustrated by Robin Rout. Photograph of the author to the rear wrap. Jacket is near fine with a minimal amount of wear at the spine ends and a couple of very small marks to the front flap. The author has signed the flyleaf with dedication dated 1984. He has misspelled the name of the person to whom the book has been dedicated, crossed through it and rewritten the correct spelling of Marguerite underneath. Presumably, he was corrected by 'Marguerite' at the time of signing! The novel begins as a tale of domestic drama and develops into an adventure of blackmail, conspiracy and robbery set in East Anglia, London, The Middle East and The Western Isles. Signed by Author(s). Seller Inventory # APR13.22004
