Synopsis
Howard Ingham, a New Yorker, has come to Tunisia to work on a film. However, when his friend John Castlewood, the film's producer, fails to appear, Howard starts work on a novel whose amoral ambience begins to pervade his own unsettled life. This thriller was first published in 1969.
