Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners very very slightly bruised, not price clipped (£10.95), no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy, looks almost unread. 187pp. Two mysteries in one volume. 'Wanted, someone innocent' tells the story of Gillian Brayton, young, attractive and naive, who accepts a job in the home of an ex school friend and feels threatened by unknown evil. The second story, 'Last act', is a perceptive picture of two actresses, one of whom meets with a mysterious death Denis, her grandson, has been heard to threaten to kill her but the obvious solution is not always the right one.
