Excerpt from The Problem of the Children and How the State of Colorado Cares for Them: A Report of the Denver Juvenile Court, 1904
The work and business of the County Court has more than doubled since Judge Lindsey came to the bench.
On June 1, 1904, an additional and much needed judge was added in the person of Hon. Henry V. Johnson, ex-mayor of Denver. This will relieve Judge Lindsey of much of the civil business and give him more time for his favorite work with the children's cases.
