Excerpt from A Compilation of the Election Laws of the State of Vermont: Together With the Statutes of Vermont, and the United States Relating to Naturalization
Sec. 2. Three thousand 'copies of such compilation shall in January 1885 be printed, and bound in paper at the expense of the State and distributed as follows: to each organized town or city in this State having more than three thousand inhabitants ten copies, and to each town or city having less than three thousand inhabitants six copies, to be kept at the town or city clerk's office for the use of the town or city clerk, first constable and board of civil authority; the balance shall be kept in the State Library for distribution under the direction of the librarian.
