Synopsis
"Chitty on Contracts" is a major practitioner text on this subject. The work is divided into two volumes, the first covering general principles and the second specific contracts. The general arrangements of volumes 1 and 2 remain the same as in the 25th edition but the content of many of the chapters has been extensively revised. Legislative developments which have taken into account in this new edition include the "Insolvency Act 1986", the "Companies Act 1985" and the "Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982". All the important new case law has been incorporated.
