Synopsis

Written for architects, quantity surveyors and contractors alike, this book provides an accessible guide to the three major forms of contract in the JCT series: The Standard Form of Building Contract with Quantities 1980 (JCT80); The Intermediate Form of Building Contract, 1985 (IFC84) and The Agreement for Minor Building Works, 1980 (MW80). By avoiding legal jargon and arranging the guide by topics, this book is designed to be practical with an emphasis on the contractors interests. This new edition has been thoroughly revised to take into account the developments in the law and the numerous amendments issued by the Joint Contracts Tribunal since the first edition was written.
