The programmes are built up from frames. Each frame tells something about the concept and usually includes a question to help readers find out whether or not they have understood the point. The correct solution is given in the next frame so that students can check at once that they have grasped the point or go back over it again. There is no time limit on the exercise, so students may proceed at their own pace on their own. The 5xercises are self-contained.
