This third edition includes new legislative bills on food since the second edition. Food legislation is complex and can be difficult to interpret, but there are many occasions when those working in the food industry need to know the legal requirements. Many new acts have come into force since the second edition was published in 1987 and this edition covers these and their implications, highlighting the importance of the Food Safety Act 1990.
