Synopsis

This is a comprehensive guide to the kidney and its disorders for teachers of nephrology, their students, and all doctors who deal with renal disease. All chapters in this (second) edition have been re-written and expanded to take into account recent advances in nephrology and related disciplines. In particular, sections on paediatric nephrology have been incorporated into individual chapters where appropriate.
