Synopsis
This updated edition aims to provide children and parents with the knowledge which is the foundation of American society and culture. With more than 2000 brief entries in 21 sections, the book's coverage includes such topics as the Bible and mythology, world and American geography and history, and mathematics, science and technology. Visual keys in the history and geography sections are included to give an immediate sense of an entry's context in time and place.
