Published coincident with the release of the film Querelle. Querelle (1982/1983) is Rainer Werner Fassbinder's final, highly stylized queer film exploring murder, intense desire, and betrayal. Adapted from Jean Genet's novel Querelle de Brest, the English-language film stars Brad Davis as a murderous sailor in a surreal, dreamlike French port setting.
