Synopsis

Focusing on the concept of time as a metaphor with a central position in therapy and consultation, the authors use case histories to introduce new ideas and therapeutic strategies. They explore the harmony or dissonance among family members' time perspectives, the therapeutic use of time within and between sessions, and the consideration of the self-reflective loop that encompasses past, present and future.
