Two-volume set. v.1: Blue hardcover with gold-color lettering on spine, xxxii, 547 pp., vintage photo portraits, unclipped illustrated jacket. 7th Printing. v.2: Green hardcover with gold-color lettering on spine, xxiv, 469 pp., vintage photo portraits, unclipped illustrated jacket. 1st Edition, 1st Printing. Volumes are housed in a green slipcase with paste-on labels on both sides. Plots of operas and brief composer biographies. Both volumes and jackets in excellent condition. The bottom edge of the slipcase apparently came in contact with moisture and there are drip marks; soiling on left side with legible lettering.
