About the Author
Steve Augarde has worked as an illustrator, paper-engineer, and semi-pro jazz musician. He has written and illustrated over 70 picture books for young children, and has produced the paper-engineering for many pop-up books.

Eleven year old Midge is sent to stay with her Uncle Brian at Mill Farm as her Mother is one tour with the orchestra. It is at Mill Farm that Midge learns of the hidden world of the 'Royal Forest. Illustrated by the author. A second printing copy. Dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has some light rubbing wear and a slight abrasion mark from where a price sticker was removed on the back panel of the jacket, just to the left of the UPC code, about 1/2" X 1/2". Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Top edge of the text block has a couple of tiny smudge marks, about the size of poppy seeds. Not a remainder, not a library discard. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.
