First Edition. SIGNED and inscribed to Jack Clayton and Haya Harareet. Very good cloth-backed paper-covered copy in a good, somewhat edge-nicked and sun-toned dust-wrapper, now mylar-sleeved. Remains well-preserved overall. Jack Clayton was a British film director and producer, born in Brighton in 1921, who was famous for adapting popular books into acclaimed movies. He began his career in the film industry in 1935 and rose to prominence with his 1959 film, Room at the Top, which earned him and Academy Award nomination for Best Director.
