Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. "First Edition", ISBN, and LCCN 74-24486 on its copyright page, with publisher's original "$6.95" price on its jacket's front flap. First printing code "Q 16" (April 1975) in the gutter of page 204 (as noted in ISFDB.) SIGNED, with no personalization or inscription, by author Joe W. Haldeman on the title page of his story (page 113.) This book is in very good condition, marred only by bumps on its covers' bottom corners, back top corner, and spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Not a remainder. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in near fine condition: bright, whole, and unmarked, marred only by some very light wear on its spine ends, but otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description.
