In this book, the author writes about his research in Israel, Italy, Germany, Spain and other countries. His thesis is that autism is neuro-genic and not psycho-genic in origin and that somewhere along the line, one or more of the five channels into the brain (seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and feeling) have "short-circuited". His theory of remediation is based on pinpointing the sense channel(s) that are flooding the system and then treating the cause. The author presents many suggestions for parents to evaluate and to treat the problems of autism at home.
