About the Authors

Ralph Sassone has an M.F.A. from Brown University. He has written and edited for a number of publications includingThe New York Times, The Village Voice Literary Supplement, and Details, and he has taught writing at Brown, Haverford College, and Vassar. He lives in New York City.The Intimates is his first novel.

Ralph Sassone was born in Manhattan. A former editor of the Voice Literary Supplement he earned an M.F.A. from Brown and has taught there as well as at Haverford College and Vassar. He has previously written for several publications, including The New York Times Book Review, The Village Voice, and Details. Sassone splits his time between New York City and Annandale-on-Hudson. The Intimates is his first novel.
