Ich habe es vermieden, über die geographische Verbreitung der Dipteren allgemeine Schlüsse aueznzprechen', weil es mir allzu ge wagt, ja völlig unbegründet erscheint, bei dem gegenwärtigen noch sehr mangelhaften Stande unserer Kennt nisse exotischer Formen sich ein Urtheil in dieser Richtung zu erlauben. Eine einzige Schlussfolgerung möchte ich trotzdem nicht verschweigen, nämlich die, dass nach meinen bisherigen Wahrnehmungen und Erfahrungen von den, unseren Erdball bevölkernden dipteren-arten noch nicht einmal der zehnte Theil entdeckt und bekannt geworden ist und noch Formen aufgefunden werden dürften, welche ge eignet sein werden, manche Lückein unseren Systemen auszufüllen und zu ergänzen!
