IN the two preceding volumes, I'have given the forms by which a right in land, or bur-a dens over it, are confiituted, transferred inter vivar, or difcharged; and I am now to explain the forms by. Which perfonal obligation may be confiituted, afiigned, or difcharged. It is under thefe heads I hope to include all that re lates to the original confiitution of rights herit able Or moveable, and to prepare for the due confideration of that clafs of forms, by which property is conveyed from the dead to the liv ing, voluntarily or legally.
