Lo primero hubiera sido, sin disputa, más fácil. Lo segundo me ha ocupado más de tres meses en estudios 6 investigaciones, cuyo resultado es el que tengo la honra de presentar a ambas Academias y al público en esta monografía.
Antes de empezar, sin embargo, debo cumplir con ineludible obliga ción de gratitud, consignando en este lugar la digna y delicada manera con que fuimos recibidos al realizar nuestra visita el día 24 de Mayo ul timo, en unión de ilustradas personas, así de Carmona como de Madrid y Sevilla.
