Le siège, indépendant de la figurine, a son dossier orné de quatre palmettes découpées, fixées aux angles, et de six carrés creux, disposés sur deux rangs. Les accoudoirs se terminent en rosaces et sont soutenus chacun par un sphinx femelle assis, aux ailes arrondies et déployées. Le sphinx ne joue ici qu'un rôle purement décoratif.
