La foi naturelle, ou purement humaine, a un fon: dement bien différent elle nous fait croire les choses, ou à cause de l'évidence des preuves qui nous en persuadent, ou à cause des miracles qui nous les confirment, ou par la déférence que nous avons pour les personnes qui nous 'les disent; ou même par fantaisie, sur de fausses preuves.
