The doj also issued a detailed risk analysis guidance document for use by doj adp facilities in 1977. A number of Federal agencies, contractors, and university professors have developed risk analysis methodologies, some of which have been automated. Due to the complexity of the risk analysis process, the methodologies generally require considerable time to become knowledgeable of its correct usage and to complete the risk analysis.
