SCIENCE FICTION-SOMETHING WAS GOING ON UP THERE WHERE THE WEATHER SATELLITES TWINKLED MERRILY AROUND IN THEIR ORBITS-SOMETHING THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WEATHER.BUT YOU DON'T JUST DROP IN ON A SATELLITE,OR IT'S RELATED SPHERE,AT LEAST NOT UNOBTRUSIVELEY.AND IN THIS INSTANCE IT WAS NECESSARY TO BE VERY UNOBTRUSIVE INDEED SINCE THE OWNER OF THE SPHERE WAS A MAN OF EXTREME RESOURCES WHOSE UMBRAGE IT WOULD DEFINETLY NOT BE GOOD TO EXCITE.SO A TECHNICIAN FAILED TO RETURN FROM LEAVE-AND MIKE CADOGAN WAS BRIEFED TO TAKE HIS PLACE.IT WAS ONLY AFTER HE GOT ABOARD THAT HE REALISED NOBODY HAD BEEN FOOLED BY THIS MANOUVER-AND THAT PROVED SOMETHING WAS VERY WRONG INDEED.
