Synopsis
This Kipper story is based on the television episode Pig's Presents. Kipper's friend Pig only wants a pet for his birthday, so that is exactly what Kipper buys him: a little hamster called Roly. But Kipper starts to play with Roly before Pig's birthday party and before he knows it he has missed the party and completely fallen for little Roly and cannot bear to give him away.
