On Course Spanish is aimed at non language specialists in Higher Education who wish to continue the language they studied at school or to take up a new one.
The course is specifically created with the needs of IWLP students in mind and allows for a highly structured approach, to fit in to a 24 week academic year. Each unit consisting of revision material, vocabulary, grammar boxes. The course will introduce language-learning and transferable skills, such as dictionary work, reading strategies, word composition, giving mini-presentations etc.
The course components are a student book, plus a CD and a support book containing the answers to the exercises and listening transcripts.

About the Author:
Series editor Sandra Truscott is Director of the Languagewise programme and Programme Head at the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Manchester. She has also published extensively and is the author of Breakthrough Spanish. John Morley teaches English for Academic Purposes at the University of Manchester and co-ordinates the Tandem Learning programme for British and European language learners. Author Mayte Alvarez is Languagewise Tutor, at the Language Centre in the University of Manchester
