Synopsis

The original Study Notes in this brand new edition reflect the aim of the New Light translation itself: to be accessible and easy to understand. Every page of this Bible contains Side Notes, which explain the meaning of key verses, and End Notes, which apply the Bible to life situations. There is also a full-page Introduction to every book of the Bible, explaining when and why it was written. From the same translators as the world's most popular Bible, the NIV, the New International Reader's Version (New Light) is ideal for those who are new to the Bible, have no church background, younger readers or those whose first language is not English.
