Synopsis
Esther Shepstone was blinded by love. Ashton, to whom she pledged herself, was a worthless playboy and squanderer and when his mother threatened to cut off his allowance if he didn't stop seeing Esther - whom the arrogant lady considered beneath her son Ashton left London without a qualm. Though puzzled by this abrupt departure, Esther was still madly in love with him.
