Alan Race has written a very good book indeed. many people urgently need the kind of framework that he provides into which to put their own perceptions of the relation of Christian faith to other forms of religion. He sets out to give us a threefold typology to enable us to place ideas and to relate them to each other. He does this in terms of exclusivism, inclusivism and pluralism. The book states the problem clearly, gives the possibilities and the attitudes distinctly and tries to lead to a further development of the question. This book can confidently be recommended to those concerned with inter-faith dialogue and religious education
