Ever since the human race stopped swinging around in trees and settled down to some steady thinking on two feet, we have relied on reasoning to survive. Argument is used here as a reason or set of reasons for an action or for holding a point of view. At the conclusion of these units you should be able to see the good points in an argument as well as its flaws and uncertainties.
