It is proposed to publish, also, a small volume, consist ing of sentences which will form examples of the use of particles in the English, and of affixes in the Burmese language; which volume will complete the series, and it is sincerely hoped that the course of learning which the preceding arrangement implies, will prove advantageous. That it will prove to be so, in some degree, there can he no doubt, in view of the almost entire destitution of books adapted to the use of schools, established for instruction in both the English and Burmese languages.
