Excerpt from Revue Semestrielle Des Publications Mathématiques, Vol. 11: Premiere Partie; 1902, Avril-Octobre
If every operator of an abelian group is put into correspondence with its a-th power, an isomorphism is obtained; if hisaprime to the order ofevery_3_ Operator in the group, the resulting isomorphism is simple. The author denotes it by a-holornorphism. He examines under what conditions non abelian groups do admit a-holomorphisms and what arethe properties of the corresponding operators in the group of isomorphisms (p. 186 - 190.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is a collection of articles published in the journal "Revue semestrielle de publications mathà matiques", mostly from the period 1892-1902. The articles are primarily concerned with mathematical research and education in the late 19th century, with a focus on analysis, geometry, algebra, and number theory. The volume provides a glimpse into the development of mathematics during this period, and includes contributions from some of the leading mathematicians of the time. The articles cover a wide range of topics, including the foundations of analysis, the theory of differential equations, and the geometry of curves and surfaces. The author's insights into these topics have had a lasting impact on the development of mathematics and continue to be studied by mathematicians today.
